Bed Frame vs. Mattress, and Oversized Items vs. Doorway

Two independent checks: whether a standard mattress actually fits the bed frame it's sold with, and whether the largest pieces in this range can pass through a doorway - the second answer, for every product it applies to, is not a dash but a specific, published reason why the check doesn't resolve.

Beds vs. mattress

This checks each frame's own published length and width against a standard mattress of the size it's sold for - Twin, Queen or King - using the industry-standard US mattress dimensions, not a figure GAOMON publishes. It is not a check against your room; see the worked example below for that. "Height" is each frame's single published figure, which includes the headboard where one exists - proven by the one headboard-less frame in this range (a 6 in low-profile Queen), whose own published height is exactly its frame height with nothing else added.

Frame footprint and height as published, checked against a standard mattress of the stated size (Twin 38×75″, Full 54×75″, Queen 60×80″, King 76×80″ - the industry-standard US mattress sizing convention, not a GAOMON figure). Height includes the headboard on every bed that has one; none of the five publishes frame and headboard height separately.

Oversized items vs. doorway

None of the five oversized products below gets a computed doorway verdict - not because the question doesn't matter, but because for each one, either the check doesn't apply or the data to build it isn't published. Three different reasons, not one: modular (ships in several packages, assembles on site - nothing passes through the door already assembled), compressed (ships in a single package whose own size is never stated), and unpackaged (assembly is required, but the manufacturer states neither a box count nor box dimensions). Which one applies to a given product tells you what to do next: for "modular," nothing - it's a non-issue; for "compressed" and "unpackaged," ask the seller for the shipping carton's own dimensions before assuming it will clear a doorway or stairwell.

Every product below resolves to n/a on the doorway check, for one of three distinct, stated reasons - hover or see below for which applies to which product.

ProductWhy the doorway check does not apply
GAOMON 78.7 Inch Convertible Corduroy Sleeper Sofa BedShips compressed in one package, per the manufacturer, but the package's own dimensions are not published - a doorway check can't be built because what actually arrives at the door isn't sized.
GAOMON 78 Inch Long Dining Table for 6-8Assembles on site, per the manufacturer, but the number of packages it ships in and their dimensions are not published - a doorway check can't be built because what actually needs to pass through the door (the packaging, not the assembled piece) isn't sized.

GAOMON 136 Inch Modular U-Shaped Sectional SofaShips in several packages and assembles on site, per the manufacturer - no single piece needs to pass through a doorway already assembled, so this check does not apply.

Sizing questions

Why do beds get a computed fit check but the sofa, sofa bed, table, TV stand and dresser don't?

Because US mattress sizes are standardized, so a bed frame's own published length and width can be checked against a real, known standard (Twin/Queen/King). The five oversized products don't have an equivalent known second side to check against - either the packaging size isn't published, or the check doesn't apply because the piece ships in parts.

Does the King bed frame actually fit a King mattress?

Yes, but by a notably thin margin: the frame's own published width (76 in) exactly equals a standard King mattress's width (76 in) - 0.0 in to spare - and its length (80.9 in) clears a standard King mattress's length (80 in) by only 0.9 in. Both are shown as "Fits, tight."

Does every bed frame actually fit its stated mattress size?

Four of five do, one does not by a hair: the 6 in low-profile Queen frame's own published length (79.9 in) is 0.1 in short of a standard Queen mattress's length (80 in). That is well within normal manufacturing and measurement tolerance - mattresses commonly overhang a platform frame's rail slightly - but shown as published rather than rounded away.

Why is there no single "n/a" for the five oversized products - why three reasons?

Because they're not the same situation. A reader who owns the modular sectional needs to know the check simply doesn't apply to them; a reader who owns the sofa bed or the assemble-on-site pieces needs to know the opposite - that the check would matter, but the manufacturer hasn't published what it would take to run it, and they should ask before assuming a doorway will clear.

What size TV does the 70 in TV stand fit?

The listing's own title says up to 80 in; the manufacturer's own feature text separately says up to 75 in - not reconciled, shown as published on both. This is a TV-compatibility question, not a room- or doorway-fit question, so it sits outside both Sizing branches; see the TV stand's own product page.
